Short-term anesthetic. It does not produce side effects such as drowsiness and lassitude. It normally does not cause irritation or tissue damage. It has a slight intrinsic vasoconstrictive power that makes it less toxic and can be used without associated vasoconstrictions.

Indications:

It is recommended, after medical evaluation, in pediatric, adult and elderly patients who present: Hypertension, Diabetes, cardiovascular conditions or pregnancy. In procedures that do not need the hemostatic property of vasoconstrictors.

Duration:

It produces a deep anesthesia of 30 to 40 minutes in the upper jaw by infiltration and 40 to 50 minutes in the lower jaw by nerve block.
